I am in the software business for some time now and in the last couple of weeks I started thinking that it is maybe the time to get off of the fence and start sharing an handful of my knowledge and experience with the internet community who was my trusted professional companion for more than a decade.
From my side, the companionship was a mixture of hacking skills quest, perfect (e.g. object pool, queue etc.) implementation search, agile planning tricks digging and way too many white-sheets, tutorials, specs and code examples reading; I did get off the fence from time to time and had some glitches in several professional forums but blogging is different since it have the commitment smell all over it.
So I think (yep, I am not sure yet) I am ready to commit to the blogging scène and pragmatic software management for me is exactly the cut-the-bullshit “stuff” that can help you master the software management art.
I hope it will be interesting to you as I think it will be to me.
